Over the western sky
Dark clouds went weeping by
And over the furthest ridge line
Ghostly blue plumes caught my searching eye
While you intently talked to me

This parting gift
Came alive with searching lips
While your finger tips

Its dark; it feels just like midnight

She stands under the bar lights

But she's right there in front of you

And you feel like everyone is watching

With anger you walk out to your car
